Delete Your Account
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This page explains how to delete your account and associated data in PACE Running Club, the mobile app developed by Andrei Bredikhin. You can do it yourself inside the App, or request it by email if you no longer have the App installed.
1Delete your account in the App
If you still have PACE Running Club installed and can sign in, this is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Open the App and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted — you are asked to confirm twice, because the deletion cannot be undone.
Your account and the data listed below are then deleted, and you are signed out.
2Request deletion by email
If you have already uninstalled the App, or you cannot sign in, send us a deletion request instead.
Email avbredihin@gmail.com with the subject “PACE account deletion request”. In the message, include the email address you registered with — or the Apple or Google account you signed in with — so we can locate your account and verify that the request comes from you.
avbredihin@gmail.comWe complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming that you are the owner of the account, and email you when it is done.
3What is deleted
Deleting your account removes the following data:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account information — email address, password, display name, date of birth, gender, and the identifiers returned by Apple or Google if you used them to sign in | Deleted |
| Profile photo and user content — posts, comments, voice cheers, and challenge activity | Deleted |
| Activity data — GPS routes, distance, pace, duration, elevation, and splits | Deleted |
| Health samples read from Apple Health or Health Connect and stored as part of a run | Deleted together with the run, and all of them with the account |
| Push notification tokens | Deleted |
We do not keep a separate mirror of your Apple Health or Health Connect data: we read only the samples that fall inside a run’s own start-to-finish window and store them as part of that run, so deleting the run or the account deletes them too.
4What may be retained, and for how long
- Encrypted backups. Copies of deleted data can remain in our routine encrypted database backups. Those backups are rotated and overwritten within 90 days, after which the data is gone from them as well.
- Records we are required to keep. A minimal set of records may be retained where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to prevent fraud and abuse. These are kept only for as long as that purpose requires and are deleted afterwards.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
5Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove something. Inside the App you can delete an individual run, post, comment, or your profile photo while keeping the account. Deleting a run also deletes the health samples that were stored with it.
6Withdrawing health permissions without deleting data
If you only want PACE to stop reading your health data, you can withdraw the permission instead of deleting anything:
- Android — Health Connect → App permissions → Pace Running Club.
- iOS — Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PACE.
Withdrawing the permission stops all further reads immediately. The App keeps working, and runs simply show no heart rate.
